Gainesville College celebra el Mes de la Hisapnidad

En su nuevo campus en Watkinsville, Condado Oconee, Gainesville College organizó un evento para celebrar el Mes de la Hispanidad. Estudiantes inscritos en clases de español, junto con el Club de Español y la profesora Anita York prepararon un día lleno de actividades. Decenas de estudiantes desfilaron en el Student Center de la universidad vestidos con ropa típica de todos los países de habla hispana y los Estados Unidos. Los estudiantes caminaron a una tarima donde hablaron brevemente, en español e inglés, sobre el país que representaban, mientras ondeaban la bandera de su país. El evento también incluyó comida típica y un espectáculo de talentos.

Gainesville College Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

In its new campus in Watkinsville, Oconee County, Gainesville College organized an event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Students enrolled in Spanish classes, along with the Spanish Club and Professor Anita York prepared a whole day of activities. Dozens of students modeled at the Student Center dressed with typical clothing from all Spanish-speaking countries as well as the United States. The students walked to a stage where they talked briefly about the country they were representing, in both Spanish and English, while waving their country flag. The event also included typical food as well as a talent show.
