Carta al editor Señor Dan Hoggard, Quiero decirle que trabajo para su compañía Pilgrim's Pride y por obvias razones no daré a conocer mi identidad. Antes que nada, déjeme informarle que al igual que yo, hay muchas personas a las cuales nos da pena y tristeza el saber que una persona con tanto estudio como el suyo y con un puesto tan importante en una de las plantas de proceso con más inmigrantes hispanos tenga esos pensamientos tan faltos de cultura y educación. Desafortunadamente, debido a personas como usted, con esos "principios" e "ideales" es que existe el racismo y la discriminación. Me dí cuenta que en su carta menciona mucho a Dios y me da mucho gusto, pero sepa que Dios existe en la persona y no en el "país". En la mayor parte de su carta, se refiere a "nuesto país, nuesto Dios", un tema muy controversial a mi parecer, pero independientemente nadie es nadie para juzgar. Para terminar, en referencia a su último consejo brindado al inmigrante en el cual indica que tenemos "el derecho a irnos", también tenemos el derecho a la libertad, igual como de religión y expresión, algo que supongo que usted practica en su compañía al seguir y respetar la Primera Enmienda de la Constitución de los Estados Unidos. - Anónimo		Letter to the Editor Mr. Dan Hoggard, I would like to tell you that I, as well as you, work at Pilgrim's Pride company and for obvious reasons I won't reveal my identity. First of all, let me inform you there many people who agree with me when I say that we are ashamed and sad to know that such a person as yourself with education and important position in one of the processing plants with more Hispanic immigrant employees would have those fake thoughts on culture and education. Unfortunately, due to people like you, with those "principles" and "ideologies", racism and discrimination exist. I realized that in your letter you mentioned God many times, which is something that makes me glad, but recognize that God exists in a person and not in a "country." In great part of your letter, you refer to "our country, our God," a very controversial subject from my view, but no one is worth judging. To finish, on regards to your last advise to immigrants in which you indicate we have "the right to leave," we also have the right of freedom, as well as religion and expression, something that I suppose you would practice at your work place by following and respecting the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. - Anonymous
