ETERNO

Quisiera ser amada
con profunda ternura,
quisiera ser tratada
con palabras de dulzura .

Quisiera ser querida
y borrar viejas heridas,
quisiera ser escuchada
sin que nada lo estropeara.

Quisiera ser tomada
como una flor aun cerrada,
quisiera despertar
con las ansias solo de dar.

Quisiera unas manos tiernas
para rodear todo mi cuerpo
y fundirnos en un abrazo
y que esto fuera eterno.

Wanting to be loved
with tenderness profound,
wanting to be treated
with words sweetened.

Wanting to be wanted
and blot out old wounds,
wanting to be heard
without possible spoil.

Wanting to be taken
like a flower not yet forsaken,
wanting awakening
with anxieties only from giving.

Wanting two tender hands
to encircle all of my body
and fuse us in an embrace
and that this would be eternal.
