Tamboricua puso el sabor latino en Athens

Ultimamente se habla mucho del sorprendente crecimiento de la población latina en los Estados Unidos. Este incremento ha hecho que la influencia latina sea cada vez más importante y se puede notar en el gran número de personas que hablan español, el gusto por la comida latina y las ganas de bailar salsa, merengue y otros ritmos latinos.

Athens está experimentando este fenómeno y prueba de esto fue el rotundo éxito del concierto latino organizado el viernes, 19 de septiembre, por I.P.P (International Party People) y amenizado por la orquesta Tamboricua.

Todo comenzó alrededor de las 10 de la noche cuando el DJ comenzó a realizar sus mezclas. Poco a poco Tasty World, en el centro de Athens, comenzó a sentir el calor de la música latina y a las 11 el lugar estaba repleto y listo para disfrutar de la Orquesta Tamboricua en vivo. Los músicos subieron a la tarima y a la cuenta de tres dieron inicio a uno de los mejores espectáculos latinos presentados en la ciudad. El merengue, la salsa, la bomba y la plena fueron los ritmos latinos interpretados por la orquesta compuesta por 10 músicos provenientes de Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Colombia y los Estados Unidos.

Tamboricua dejó claro por qué se le considera una de las mejores orquestas latinas de Georgia, motivando a todos los presentes a bailar sin parar durante todo el concierto en una ambiente de diversión y disfrute.

Tamboricua Brings Latin Flavor to Athens

Lately, the surprising growth of the Latino population in the United Stated has received attention. This growth has caused the Latino influence to have a bigger impact and it can be noticed by the large number of people speaking Spanish, the popularity of Latin food and the enthusiasm to dance salsa, merengue and other Latin dances.

Athens is experiencing this phenomenon and as proof of this, the Latin concert on Friday, September 19, organized by I.P.P. (International Party People) with the participation of band Tamboricua, was an absolute success.

Everything started around 10 at night when the DJ started to spin. Little by little, Tasty World in downtown Athens began to feel the heat of the Latin music and at 11 the place was packed and ready to enjoy a live performance by Tamboricua. The musicians took the stage and at the count of three they kicked off one the best Latin performances Athens has had. Merengue, salsa, bomba and plena were the Latin dances played by the band composed of 10 musicians from Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Colombia and the United States.

Tamboricua proved why they are considered one of the best Latin bands in Georgia, making everybody present dance non-stop during the whole concert in an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.
