Many banks are now accepting 'matrícula consular' and Tax IDs, as well as utility receipts and proof of work, as valid ways to start the process of opening a bank account.

The deadline to file taxes will be in April. Call 706-255-5522 and ask about where they next tax program will take place. The next tax program will be sponsor by "El Banco de la Oportunidad."
